Tryanuary Launches

Tryanuary encourages consumers to continue supporting small, independent beer businesses during January, a notoriously difficult trading month in a normal year, let alone when pubs and clubs are closed under another lockdown.

CAMRA has supported Tryanuary since it started and has sponsored the campaign since 2020.

This year, because all parts of the UK are now in lockdown, the Tryanuary team have made some changes to the campaign:

• Tryanuary will be extended beyond January, until the end of the current lockdown.

• Addition of #TryanuaryAtHome on social media.

• The campaign will also encourage consumers to engage with the Tryanuary online community to help their mental health and wellbeing.

• The Tryanuary website will feature an online directory for beer businesses to promote their products to consumers, and feature listings for virtual events that any groups, pubs or brewers might be holding.
