  • Happy Man Beer Festival Thursday 21 – Sunday 24 March 2019 Happy Man

    The Happy Man has 3 beer festivals a year, each offering an entirely different range of real ales from all over the country.

    The pub is in Englefield Green, a 45 min bus ride from Slough on the First No.8 route.

    Ales are sold in 2 glass sizes (½ pint and pint) which make trying the range and finding favourites easier. There is 50p a pint of festival ales on all days.

    During the 4 days there will be a special Beer Festival menu serving food plus a BBQ from 9pm on Thursday to Saturday.

    The Spring Real Ale Ramble has been CONFIRMED for Sunday 24th March from Hedgerley village pond at 10am. and I hope that you will be able to join us. Let's hope our usual good luck with the weather continues, and it’s a dry day again.     Anyone is welcome to join the walk at any point or to just come along and meet us for a few beers at any one (or more !!!) of these pubs on what is always a very sociable day out.

    When Rebellion moved to Bencombe Farm in 1999 they decided to have a party to welcome our existing customers to the new brewery, and this started the tradition of having a biennial Open Weekend.     Now into its 5th year, Windsor Beer Festival presents - a chance to discover 24 beers of every style from some of the hidden gems of London's brewing scene.

    Windsor & Eton Brewery are hosting once again, with 3 sessions taking place over 2 days:

    Friday 30th August: 5-9pm

    Saturday 31st September: 12-4pm

    Sunday 1st September: 5-9pm

    Tickets are priced at £6 per session and include a festival glass. Tickets can be bought from the following LINK. All beers are then sold in third, half or pint quantities and price is dependent on the ABV%.

    There will be plenty of beer, food and music to enjoy. As this festival's theme is Hidden London Breweries there is no beer list - it is a surprise!
