    Join us at the Windsor & Eton Brewery & Taproom, Unit 4 from 18.00 to celebrate Guardsman winning third overall in the 2024 National CBOB competition in the Session Bitters category.

    We will make the presentation to Santi Bello, who is the head brewer.

  • A Micropub Tour of SE London Saturday 15 March 2025 Long Pond

    THIS IS A BRANCH SOCIAL led by Alan Molloy (07864 020570).

    As you probably know, Kent has the highest concentration of micropubs in the country, but would you believe that there are 9 spreading into London along the A2, and it seem rude not to visit them.

    We will all meet at the first Micropub called the Long Pond which is in the GBG 2025, and then move on..

    I will have COMPLETED a dry run before the 15th to whittle the list down to the best.

  • Old Windsor Beer Festival Friday 28 – Saturday 29 March 2025 Old Windsor Memorial Hall

    NOTE DATE CHANGE. ON SATURDAY THERE IS BRANCH SOCIAL from noon - 5pm hosted by Steve (07881 682017).

    A festival for local beer & Cider lovers.

    2025 will be their fourth Beer Fest.

    Again they will be offering three sessions across the two days for you to come along and taste the best beers and ciders they have found in the last year! If you've followed their socials you will know they have loved getting out there taste testing so you'll be sure to find many new beers you've not tried before and maybe some breweries you've never even heard of before!

    The Hall is laid out with long trestle tables which ensures that whether you are coming along solo or as part of a large group you will be surrounded by fellow beer drinkers so a fun social session is guaranteed!

    Hot freshly prepared food is available across all sessions,

    ON SATURDAY 5th THERE IS BRANCH SOCIAL from 1pm hosted by Steve (07881 682017).

    Entertainment, prices & beer list to be confirmed.

    Wednesday – 2nd: 15.00 – 23.00 (preview afternoon/evening)

    Thursday – 3rd: 10.00 – 23.00

    Friday – 4th: 10.00 – midnight

    Saturday – 5th: noon – midnight

    The festival is open to non-members.

    The club is a short walk from Egham station.

    The beer list will be available closer to the date at Egham united Services Club.

    Around 25 to 30 one off cask conditioned Real Ales from around the UK plus Ciders & Perries and draught craft beers

    Hopefully the White Horse will be putting on their usual first beer festival of the year.

  • The Great British Beer Festival 2025 Tuesday 5 – Saturday 9 August 2025

    The Great British Beer Festival is making a triumphant return this summer following a hiatus in 2024. The UK’s premier beer festival will take place 5-9 August 2025.

    For the first the t time since 1983, The Great British Beer Festival will be hosted in the West Midlands, with the flagship festival set to be staged at the iconic NEC Birmingham. The renowned exhibition centre has excellent rail and air links making it the perfect new venue for beer lovers from the UK and abroad.

    Now in its 47th year, the highly anticipated return of The Great British Beer Festival will celebrate the best of UK brewing and beyond, with a huge range of fantastic drinks all under one roof. Visitors can look forward to trying hundreds of different beers as well as visit bars dedicated to real cider and perry, and cocktails.

    New to the festival this year, the Caravan and Motorhome Club will be operating a temporary campsite at the NEC Birmingham so attendees will be able to stay near to the festival. Bookings can be made from by visiting camc.com/gbbfpopup
