  • Ealing Beer Festival Wednesday 9 – Saturday 12 July 2025 Walpole Park, Ealing

    We are pleased to announce the 34th Ealing Beer Festival will be returning to Walpole Park, Ealing W5 from the 9th – 12th July 2025.

    The festival is the largest outdoor London CAMRA beer festival, kicking off the Ealing Summer Festivals season.

    Featuring 330 real ales, ciders, perries, craft keg, wines and imported foreign beer.

    This year with extended opening on Saturday until 8pm. Wed - Fri noon to 10.30pm.

    Admission tickets are available on the door, however advanced tickets will be available, from 1st May, offering the benefit of guaranteed priority entry in a fast track queue at no extra charge. A discount is available for CAMRA members. Check the details at https://ebf.camra.org.uk/

  • The Great British Beer Festival 2025 Tuesday 5 – Saturday 9 August 2025

    The Great British Beer Festival is making a triumphant return this summer following a hiatus in 2024. The UK’s premier beer festival will take place 5-9 August 2025.

    For the first the t time since 1983, The Great British Beer Festival will be hosted in the West Midlands, with the flagship festival set to be staged at the iconic NEC Birmingham. The renowned exhibition centre has excellent rail and air links making it the perfect new venue for beer lovers from the UK and abroad.

    Now in its 47th year, the highly anticipated return of The Great British Beer Festival will celebrate the best of UK brewing and beyond, with a huge range of fantastic drinks all under one roof. Visitors can look forward to trying hundreds of different beers as well as visit bars dedicated to real cider and perry, and cocktails.

    Steve will be hosting a social on Saturday 23rd starting from 1pm.

    The White Horse in Hedgerley will be holding their usual Mini August Bank Holiday Beer Festival.

    THIS INFORMATION RELATES TO 2024 & WILL BE UPDATED.

    Open Friday:5pm to 11pm, Saturday: 11am to 11pm, Sunday: noon to 10.30pm. and Monday: 11am to 10.30pm.

    There will be 25/30 rare and one-off cask conditioned real ales from all around the UK, plus Ciders, Perries and Draught Craft Beers.

  • A Micropub Tour of SE London - Part 2 Saturday 27 September 2025 12:00

    THIS IS A BRANCH SOCIAL led by Alan Molloy (07864 020570).

    As you probably know, Kent has the highest concentration of micropubs in the country, but would you believe that there are 9 spreading into London along the A2, and it seem rude not to visit them. In March we visited 4 excellent venues and I am sure part 2 will be as good.

    We will all meet at NOON in the first Micropub - details to follow, and then move on to explore 4 more micropubs which are all in GBG 2025.

    Oktoberfest is back! With authentic German biers, bratwurst, pretzels, apfelstrudel and live music, what's not to love!

    At the Swan, the beer is always authentic, specialising in smaller and independent brewers, so last year's Oktoberfest, featured Southern German breweries with the following draught beers: Oeshner Edelhell, Oeshner Black, Rothause Pils & Bavarian Helles
