See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. This Grade II listed building was completely refurbished in a traditional style by new owners in February 2017 and designated as an Ale and Cider House. Fifteen hand pumps serve ten regularly changing real ales, five real ciders and ten keg lines. There will always be at least one beer from Big Smoke Brewery in Surbiton. The pub has a collection of vinyl records which are often played and a good selection of traditional pub food is available. Upstairs there is a function room with hand pumps on the bar and seating for up to 80 people. Unusually, there is a small, partly covered, roof-terrace, to cater for smokers, and those wishing to savour the outside atmosphere. Pub quiz on Monday eve.
