Recently fully refurbished, this cosy pub has low ceilings and wood half panelling throughout. Split into two, the front half has a TV at one end. The space around the bar has a typical locals' pub feel and it is not difficult to get engaged in conversation. The back is on two levels with the lower level serviced by a small bar and tends to be more food dominated. There are two log fires. As well as the large garden at the back, there are picnic tables outside the front of the pub. Ideal base for walks.
