Refurbished by Hall and Woodhouse, this large pub/diner has a country house feel with oak paneling and shelving packed with interesting books. There is a separate drinking area. A green oak timber conservatory restaurant opens on to a patio and garden. Meals and snacks, including vegetarian, are served all day. Poker night every Wednesday. The Uxbridge to Slough bus stops outside (last bus approx. 10pm 30 min service, but approx. 7pm Sunday, which is now an hourly service).
