CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. The Craufurd Arms was bought by the community for the community in 2017 after being registered as an Asset of Community Value. The strap line is: "Your Pint-Sized Community Pub". The pub dates back to the late 1800s and was at the edge of the site of Craufurd College, which was a private school for boys, hence the unusual spelling. There's a cosy single bar and partially-covered beer garden. The pub hosts activities most days of the week: Cribbage on Monday; women's darts on Tuesday and men's darts on Wednesday; a very popular quiz night on Thursday; and live music every Friday and Saturday. We host an Open Mic night every other month on a Saturday and also put on a bi-monthly Karaoke evening. Two large screens show Sky and TNT Sports.
